The Group of professors, lecturers and students of the Saint Petersburg State University of Veterinary Medicine headed by a Fellow of the Russian National Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, academician Anatoliy Stekolnikov visited the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University (ADAU).
The purpose of the visit is to develop mutual cooperation, develop joint research projects, study programs, exchange of students and teachers, training of personnel and other issues.
The Rector of the University, a corresponding member of ANAS, Professor Ibrahim Jafarov, at a meeting with the guests spoke about the student houses, the new educational building, laboratories, the Teaching and Research farm, livestock complex, veterinary clinic, Indoor and outdoor fish breeding laboratory, the Poultry farming training centre, the Artificial Insemination Training Centre, stimulating programs of ADAU and mentioned that all the conditions for obtaining a high-quality agricultural education have been created in ADAU.
While expressing satisfaction with his stay at the Agricultural University, Anatoliy Stekolnikov noted that the development of mutually beneficial relations would be useful for both parties.
Within the framework of the visit, which will last several days, guests will get acquainted with the university’s material and technical base and organize seminars for students. It is also planned to update the memorandum on mutual cooperation between the Saint Petersburg State University of Veterinary Medicine and the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University.
