Event titled "National army - our support, source of pride" dedicated to June 26-Day of Armed Forces was held at the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University.

Addressing the event rector of ADAU, correspondent member of ANAS, professor Ibrahim Jafarov emphasized the basis of the successful youth policy in the country was laid by great leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev continues this policy successfully. Noting the great victory gained by the glorious Azerbaijani army led by commander-in-chief Ilham Aliyev is the evidence of patriotism of our youth, the rector said the unity of people-army-leadership in our country is the example for the world. He said the combat way of our heroic martyrs and veterans, as well as our Great Victory play an important role in patriotic education of our youth.

Head of the Social Sciences and Multiculturalism Department, Professor Azad Bayramov talked of the history of this significant day and works done by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in field of construction of the army.

Then Shafa Musayeva, teacher of the Social Sciences and Multiculturalism Department and Shahriyar Mehdizadeh, a first-year student of the Veterinary Medicine Faculty talked about the strength and correct tactics of our Armed Forces and the modern equipment available in the military arsenal.
